TREVOR DE SOUZA,
HEAD COACH & FOUNDER

Trevor’s passion for health and fitness took him from the cushy seat of an I.T. Office job to opening his own Fitness facility. Having been involved in sport his whole life, the suit and tie lifestyle didn’t inspire him like the training shorts and runners life of helping people see what they are capable of through health and fitness.

Over the years owning and operating a Group training facility, Trevor become increasingly aware of how individual all his clients were and that in order to achieve what they truly wanted out of their health and fitness journey, an individual approach would be required. This led him to begin his journey on providing a completely Individualised approach to fitness through OPEX.

His journey to Kokoro Camp (dubbed one of the toughest training camps on Earth) highlights his drive to inspire others to explore what they are truly capable of both inside and outside of the gym.

His thirst for knowledge combined with his passion for Individualised coaching results in his pursuit of providing each of his clients with a unique, results orientated experience to be the best version of themselves.

HERONA KIM,
COACH

Herona just loves to help people, it’s as simple as that. To him one of the most satisfying things in life is being able to help people positively change their life through health and fitness.

Herona is constantly striving for mastery in all aspects of coaching from movement to nutrition and lifestyle and his easy going, “anything is possible” outlook on life is infectious on all his clients inspiring them to achieve more than they believe is possible.

He has spent many years practicing numerous Martial Arts like Muay Thai, Boxing, Judo and Wrestling and loves applying his knowledge in this field working with people currently participating in Martial Arts.

STEPHANIE CROUCHER,
FLOOR COACH

Stephanie has been on her fitness journey for five years. She started her journey after realising she was unhappy with her health and generally dissatisfied with her work/life/study balance and deciding to make change her lifestyle to find happiness in herself and her future. Understanding what it is like on both sides of the fence, Stephanie has a passionate interest in your health and lifestyle as a journey and can provide the long term support and resources you need along the way.

Currently studying a degree in Exercise Science, she has a long term goal of becoming an Exercise Physiologist. In this capacity, her constant search for understanding of the human body has led Stephanie to specialising in working with mature age clientele, or those in need of prehabilitative approach to training. As an exercise specialist, Stephanie currently specialises in working with clients with chronic health conditions and has experience in working with clients in all stages of their lives and fitness journeys.

amanda de souza
nutritionist & founder

“As odd as it sounds, the fact that what I eat can affect how I feel was a revelation to me at first, and this wonder and curiosity has been the driving force in my life ever since.”

Amanda’s health and fitness journey began in 2012 and continues every single day. Whether that’s improving her own meals and habits, or getting her twins to eat more veggies, she’s using her curiosity daily to find a better way.

Currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Food Science and Nutrition, Amanda is the perfect combination of academic knowledge and real-life self-experimentation and relates to people’s eating habits on a deep level.

3. Training at OPEX

Once your assessment is completed, your coach carefully analyses your results and designs a program to get you started. All of your training sessions are covered by an experienced, professional coach.

4. Refinement

Every 4-6 weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule a catch up with your coach to review and refine your goals, priorities and adjust your training for any changes in lifestyle.
